Fall is a soft cotton fabric (usually 3-5 inches wide) stitched along the inner bottom edge of your saree.

Edging, also known as pico, is a clean stitch done along the top and bottom edges of a saree. It finishes the raw fabric edges of the saree.
- Prevents fraying of delicate fabrics like chiffon, georgette, or silk
- Gives the saree a neat, professional finish
- Is a must-have before you wear or pleat your saree
- When you're getting the fall stitched, it’s usually done together
