Fall is a soft cotton fabric (usually 3-5 inches wide) stitched along the inner bottom edge of your saree.
- Protects the saree from damage and wear
- Adds weight to the hemline, so the saree drapes better
- Is usually color-matched to blend with the saree
Think of it as your saree’s inner guard keeping it strong, shapely, and flowy.
✂️ What is Edging (Pico)?
Edging, also known as pico, is a clean stitch done along the top and bottom edges of a saree. It finishes the raw fabric edges of the saree.
- Prevents fraying of delicate fabrics like chiffon, georgette, or silk

- Is a must-have before you wear or pleat your saree
